Garrett and Heidi Jones welcomed preemie baby girl, Piercely and baby boy, Hoyt, into the world on July 5, 2019.
Heidi endured a high-risk pregnancy and the medical facilities in their hometown of Corydon, IA, were not equipped to deliver twins. Piercely and Hoyt were born at Iowa Methodist Medical Center after a gestation period of only 25 weeks and 4 days.
The proud but concerned parents are very grateful to stay so close to the hospital, sleep in a wonderful bed, have showers, and a hot meal to come home to - complete with cookies and treats. We are sure Piercely and Hoyt are very happy to have mommy and daddy close to them every day.
The Jones' have been at the Ronald McDonald House for five weeks. "It feels like a home away from home" added proud daddy, Garrett.
