The “Hubbell Extreme Build” was a project taken on by Hubbell and area trade partners, along with hundreds of volunteers, to re-build a vital component of our community. This year’s project has been Hubbell’s largest Extreme Build yet.
On September 11, Hubbell Realty began the Hubbell Extreme Build by constructing the exterior walls.
The team then spent the next eleven days building a new 18-room house, fit with the highest quality equipment and tools to make the families using Ronald McDonald House feel at home. The build inccured around-the-clock until completion on September 22.
The project completed on schedule with minor touch ups to finish out, as well as the install of the brand new custom made elevator.
“We hold a Hubbell Extreme Build event every four years and for us, it’s about helping the community and making an impact on the people within those communities. We’ve done three builds like this – in 2006, 2009, 2013 – and this years’ will be by far the largest project we’ve ever taken on as a company,” said Hubbell Realty Company President & CEO Rick Tollakson.
