Love and Support…From Strangers

SCAN2707_001In April 2014, Paighton entered the world weighing 1 lb. 3 oz. and measuring 11 inches. Paighton had severe respiratory issues that kept her in the NICU for 105 nights.

With a small staff, the Ronald McDonald House couldn’t do what they do without the incredible support of numerous volunteers and local and national donors. Every day, a volunteer gives their time and a donor comes to the door with a donation.

“Thank you for being such a life saver during such a difficult time for our family. We were overwhelmed by the generosity and caring support we received during our four-month stay. The friendly staff and wonderful volunteers along with families, organizations and businesses who donated time and resources truly made it our home-away-from-home.”

With the help of our donors we are able to shower families with gifts and gestures that are meant to make their day a little bit better.

“There were little gifts left by our doors by donors that would seem to come at just the right time to lift your spirits and make you smile. Paighton has been thriving at home and we have had time to think about how blessed we are to have such a miracle baby.”
