Our Relationship with McDonald's

From the day the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Iowa opened in 1981, the local McDonald’s cooperative of owner/operators, suppliers, employees, and customers have helped us serve families with critically ill children. 

The ways they support us are many and varied - from cause-related marketing promotions, in-store donation boxes, volunteering, and much more. This support allows us to impact the lives of thousands Central Iowa children and their families by providing valuable resources to help us expand our core programs and services. 

Although the McDonald’s system is our largest corporate partner, RMHC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. RMHC depends on the support of the entire community and greatly relies on donations from the community and corporate partners.
