VOLUNTEER
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Iowa is committed to improving the quality of life for children and their families through a variety of solutions. Volunteers help make a difference in the lives of the children and families served in both of our Houses — by cooking, greeting, listening, cleaning, or simply being there and helping out in any way they can. Volunteers are the heart of RMHC, helping to offset costs and allowing the Charity to direct more donations to services supporting children and their families. Volunteer Opportunities:
Individual Volunteering: Volunteers help by keeping our Houses beautiful, our kitchens full, and our families well cared for. Whether it is helping around the House, baking a sweet treat, making a casserole, or helping at one of our events, we have plenty of opportunities for someone to help. Groups/Corporate Volunteers: Whether you are seeking a team-building experience for your

Internships/Service Learning: We are accepting resumes for interns and service learning individuals for Spring semester of 2024 and Fall semester of 2024. We have two available internships: Family Services & Program Management and Event Planning & Marketing Internship for current college students along with a Service Learning program is for juniors or seniors in High School.
